Welcome to the Early Years Department

We recognise the essential part played by Early Years education in forming a foundation for your child's future schooling. In the nursery environment we aim to foster self confidence, self esteem and eagerness to learn while we give the children, as they develop, a degree of choice, responsibility and independence.

There are two groups within the Nursery setting, where we accept children from the age of 3.  The youngest children are in the Robins groups, from where they move to the Blackbird group for their second year within the Nursery setting.  Morning and full sessions are available.

The transfer from Nursery to Pre Prep III (Reception) occurs in the September of the year in which the child will be five.  Children attend Pre Prep III full time. 

All the children work within small groups, each of which has an individual key worker.
